What is collected
Account details, organisation details, delivery and billing addresses, order history, the research-use declarations made at registration and at checkout (with time, IP address and wording version), and messages sent through the site.
Why
To supply and document orders, to verify that materials are supplied for research use, to meet record-keeping duties, to respond to enquiries, and to prevent fraud and misuse.
Retention
Order, lot-traceability and declaration records are retained for as long as the law requires them. Account data is retained while the account is open and for a limited period afterwards.
Rights
Customers can export their data and request erasure from the account page. Records that must be retained are anonymised rather than deleted.

Site analytics
The site counts its own visits. Each page view records the page, the referring site, the device type, the browser time zone and a visitor identifier that is a one-way hash of the network address and browser with a salt that changes every day. The address itself is not stored, nothing is placed in the browser, and the identifier cannot be linked to a person or across days. Browsers that send the Global Privacy Control signal are not counted. Records are deleted after 400 days.
Newsletter
Subscribing is by double opt-in: an address is only added once the confirmation link sent to it is opened. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. The address, the time of consent and the network address at the time are kept as the record of consent for as long as the subscription lasts.
